Four quick intervention strategies.

a. Observe a teacher use one or more of the four strategies in an intervention. Which strategy(ies) did she use? How did the teacher use the strategy? How did the child or children respond? Compare your findings to ideas in the chapter about quick intervention.

b. Interview a teacher about which of the four strategies she regularly uses. What are the teacher’s thoughts about each strategy? What does the teacher think are the strengths and weaknesses of each strategy? Why? For the strategy(ies) discussed, compare your findings to ideas in the chapter.
