Select an early education classroom and observe for one hour. Describe, in writing, what happened in the block center during your observation. How many children were in the center at one time? Were these the same children for the entire hour you observed? How many boys? How many girls? What were they building? Describe the developmental stages you saw. What did you learn from this observation? Explain. Were any props or additional materials added to the block activities? Did the nature of the activities change? Describe how the children used the added props and materials.
