Assignment 2 Rubric:

Part 1: 10 points

Depiction of Family Tree or, when genetics unknown use depiction of Table 1-1 (Also found again in Figure 11-1) of leading causes of death related to nutrition in the U.S.(Hypertension, not listed, is at number 13). Where there is a current/past state of health, this is written beneath/next to/above that person in the tree. If hand-drawn, should be neatly written. Use Internet if you would like to Google for ideas for putting a tree together.

 

Part 2: 25 points – broken down to include the following: discussing what happens if you do not take preventative measures to a pre-existing risk and/or other diseases which could be the result of not taking these measures (I call it the “domino effect”). Do not explain each relative and what they have in part two – this is the purpose of your family tree or some type of depiction for risk in Part 1. Discuss your risk you learned from looking at the tree.
